Membership

Since 1984 Wheeler Associates has been contributing significantly to the stewardship of the Grand Dame of our town, the Wheeler Opera House, while celebrating so many years of support to the community. The most recent gift to the Wheeler was to contribute significant funding for new balcony seating as part of the latest renovation.

After the City of Aspen financed the extensive renovation of the historic Wheeler Opera House in 1984, former mayor and member of the Wheeler Opera House board of directors Eve Homeyer suggested forming a non-profit organization that could breathe life into this newly refurbished treasure and raise money to help furnish the stage, backstage, and ticketing functions to bring it into the 20th century. Thus, the Wheeler Associates was born and continues to flourish in the 21st century as the support organization to the Wheeler Opera House.

The Wheeler Associates brings a wide range of entertainment at the lowest possible ticket prices, making Wheeler Associates performances accessible to all valley residents and visitors. One of the major perks of being a member of the Wheeler Associates is the privilege of selecting and purchasing seats before tickets go on sale to the general public for presentations by both the Wheeler Opera House and the Wheeler Associates.

To become a member, you may pay your dues through PayPal (see below) or by credit card through PayPal. Please provide your name, mailing address and email address on the form provided or mail with your check to the address provided below. 

A full year's membership costs only $50. Many members wish to contribute more, which can be done online by clicking on the "Donate" button below, or by writing a check for any amount you desire in addition to your membership dues and putting it in the mail to the address shown. You will receive a receipt for your membership and/or donation payment, along with a link to a PDF of our most recent season program.
